What is a foam and feather wrap cushion?

A foam and feather wrap cushion combines a firm, supportive high-density foam core with a plush outer layer of natural duck or goose feathers. This hybrid design gives you the luxurious 'sink-in' softness of a feather cushion with the structured, bounce-back support of foam.

Why choose a feather wrap over a standard foam cushion?

While standard foam provides excellent support, a feather wrap adds a premium, cloud-like softness that standard foam alone cannot achieve. It offers a more relaxed, luxurious look that is highly sought after in premium upholstery.

Do feather-wrapped foam cushions require plumping?

Yes, because the outer layer is made of natural feathers, the cushions will require occasional plumping to redistribute the feathers and maintain their plush appearance. However, because of the foam core, they require significantly less plumping than a 100% feather cushion.

Will the feathers poke through the fabric?

No. We encase the feather layer in a specialized, high-quality down-proof cambric fabric. This tightly woven material acts as a barrier, preventing quills from poking through while still allowing the cushion to breathe.

Can I customize the ratio of feathers to foam?
